About Amy

Amy Clemans is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Arizona and is Nationally Board-Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Acupuncture and Traditional East Asian Medicine from the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine where she currently serves as a Clinical Supervisor.

A native Tucsonan, Amy grew up enjoying the beautiful outdoors through hiking and rock climbing.  A ballet dancer by training, she routinely sought complimentary healthcare such as chiropractic, acupuncture and Asian Medicine to heal from pain as well as to prevent injury. Through her positive experiences with her own healing as well as her love of working with people, she knew going into complementary medicine would be her path.

In addition to her private practice, Amy worked in the integrative department of a residential treatment center for substance addiction and trauma recovery.  She has worked with patients undergoing cancer treatment as well as patients with chronic stress, fatigue and pain.  Amy loves working in an integrative environment and encourages her patients to explore various healing modalities to find what works for them!

Outside of work Amy enjoys traveling with her family, scuba diving, hiking and rock climbing.
